WELCOME TO THE

Couple Therapy Partnership

Qualified relationship psychotherapy in Plymouth

What we do

We work with couples trying to progress things in their relationship. This might include couples looking to regain something lost, to move on from an upset, to end things with minimal disruption for children, or anything else relational that two people are wanting to achieve between them.

We believe people always want the best for their relationship and for others affected by changes, like children. But prolonged conflict can lead people to say or do things that set up win/lose situations, and make a fight out of what could be a discussion or negotiation.

Who we are

We are Mark Hayward and Dr Fiona Miller, PhD. Both of us are qualified, registered systemic (relationship) psychotherapists, who have been practising for decades. We are also psychotherapy supervisors and hold senior teaching positions in various organisations.

Fiona has a PhD in Systemic Practice and Mark is a director at the Institute of Narrative Therapy. We’ve been working together for 30 years, actively developing a practice that’s client-focussed, ethical and conscious of cultural and gendered pressures and expectations.

How we work

Following initial contact, we’ll set up an appointment in our Plymouth premises to meet you to talk about how working together could be helpful to you. We’d then invite you to discuss together how you’d like to proceed and let us know if you want further appointments.

Appointments last around one hour and cost £90.
